New package of county rules target agri-tourism in Redland

In an effort to boost Redland tourism while holding event businesses there to county standards, Miami-Dade lawmakers next month will vote on a series of ordinance changes affecting the Agricultural Zoning District.
“There’s a tremendous opportunity, and really untapped opportunity, in the agricultural community out in the Redlands,” said Dennis Moss, who is co-sponsoring the item with Daniella Levine Cava. “We need to take advantage of that, but again, make sure we maintain the agricultural character of the community.”
