New cancer center for Mount Sinai gets government bonding boost

Miami Beach city commissioners gave the go-ahead for the use of up to $150 million of Health Facilities Authority Hospital Revenue Bonds towards a new cancer center at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
During July 28 commission meeting, City of Miami Beach Health Facilities Authority liaison and deputy finance director Allison Williams presented the issuance of $150 million in revenue bonds to fund a new cancer center at the Mount Sinai campus at 4300 Alton Road.
