New 874 ramp connector nearly ready to roll

A SR 874/Don Shula Expressway ramp connector to Southwest 128th Street being built for the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) is about to be completed.
Four years after work began, Claudio Diaferia, assistant director of engineering for the agency, made a presentation to board members last week to inform them the ramp connector will be open to traffic in the fall.
