Microsoft plans a Miami air quality data prototype

City commissioners will consider establishing a one-year pilot program with Microsoft Corp. to measure air quality, temperature and humidity at various sites in Miami.
The program would use a research prototype-sensing device to take the measurements at city-designated and city-owned properties, rights-of-way and facilities to provide raw data about the local environment in support of resilience and public health scenarios.
