Miami’s parking officers to wear body cameras

The Miami Parking Authority’s enforcement officers soon will all wear body cameras after the off-street parking board unanimously approved the purchase Aug. 7.
For 60 cameras, as well as docking stations, training and unlimited storage, the authority will pay $105,720 for the first year and $64,080 each additional year for the following four years, as the authority enters in an agreement with Axon Enterprises.
