Miami unemployment rises even as county sets job records

Miami’s unemployment rate rose to 3.5% last month, its highest level since 3.9% in January, according to figures released last week by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, even while the county was setting new job records in several categories.
Florida’s unemployment rate held at 3.3% for the month, while the rate for the nation as a whole was 3.7%, according to the state Department of Employment Opportunity.
