Miami studying its paybacks in county services

Three internal candidates may make the shortlist to become Miami Beach’s next city manager out of a pool of 29 total applicants. The new manager may be chosen by mid-April.
City commissioners this week are to discuss a ten-person shortlist drawn by consulting recruitment firm Ralph Andersen and Associates, which includes current Assistant City Managers Alina Hudak and Eric Carpenter and Chief Financial Officer John Woodruff.
