Miami looks at how to check hotels into riverfront industrial areas

While the City of Miami could soon allow hotels in its industrial areas, questions on how it would affect the marine-related industries along the Miami River dominated Monday’s discussion.
Commissioners approved a land-use change that would allow lodging uses in all industrial areas in the city and voted in favor of the accompanying zoning change on first reading.
