Miami International Airport travel gains 19%

Miami International Airport (MIA) smashed prior pandemic-era flight records last month, signaling a steady resurgence as trust in air travel grows at Miami-Dade’s biggest economic generator.
Final figures from March are still pending, but early information shows that between March 1 and March 29, over 2.3 million passengers flew through MIA. That’s a more than 19% uptick in air travel to and from Miami compared to December, MIA’s busiest month historically and since Covid-19 struck over a year ago.
