Miami Eats program helps keep 1,200 restaurants afloat

Launched in March to help relieve local restaurants that were dramatically impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau Miami Eats program has exceeded its expectations in keeping businesses afloat, while industry leaders work together to responsibly reopen a more resilient economy.
“When our marketing team first launched the program, we didn’t think we would have almost 1,200 participating restaurants. That tells you the strength of the program and the great need from our local businesses,” William D. Talbert III, convention & visitors bureau president and CEO, said about the current status of the now-popular delivery and takeout service.
