Miami-Dade prioritizes transit, water & sewer, resilience from fund US bonanza

With the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act signed into law, it is just a matter of time for state and local governments to start receiving federal funds. Miami-Dade has already pinpointed transit, water and sewer, and resilience projects as key priority areas, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava told Miami Today.
This week the mayor has a scheduled meeting with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to get funds in that area, and the county is in the process of coordinating conversations with the Environmental Protection Agency to discuss resilience funds.
