Miami-Dade looks at three-month delay on raising parking fines

Miami-Dade lawmakers have given a preliminary OK to delaying countywide parking fine hikes until three months past the original planned effective date.
Commissioners on Dec. 4 approved changes to the county code that would raise parking fines here to levels congruous with other counties in the state. The higher fines were to begin July 1.
