Miami-Dade litigation against ‘forever chemical’ makers rolls on

Miami-Dade’s case in a multi-district litigation against the makers of so-called “forever chemicals” that are toxic to humans and the environment is moving ahead, but it’s still some ways off from going to trial.
It’s been 10 months since commissioners voted to hire a multi-law-firm group called the Levin Team and join other plaintiffs in seeking damages against the federal government and companies Chemours, 3M and others, whose cancer-linked chemicals are in the public water supply.
