Miami-Dade jobless dive sets a record as gains multiply

Miami-Dade unemployment plunged to an unheard-of 2.7% in November as the county for the second consecutive month set multiple jobs highs.
As unemployment was falling to 38,800 from 42,500 in October, total non-farm jobs hit an all-time 1,245,600 – up 10,100 in one month – while the red-hot education and health sectors had a 6.8% jobs gain to 203,500, up 13,000 jobs in 12 months. Statewide, over the year education and health services have had the largest growth, adding 62,300 positions.
