Miami cuts its greenhouse gas emissions 27% in a decade

A City of Miami greenhouse gas inventory shows it scaled back its operations emissions as well as the citywide total by 27% in just over a decade.
The city’s Office of Resilience and sustainability led the inventory for the baseline year of 2018. According to the report, city operations went from 82,414 metric tons of carbon-dioxide equivalent in 2007, date of the last greenhouse gas inventory, to 60,164 metric tons in 2018.
