Miami commission moves to rein in a future city manager

Legislation arising from the City of Miami administration could soon need consent from the city’s elected officials to land on the agenda.
The city commission is to vote on first reading today (2/13) on legislation that would rein in the city manager’s ability to place items on the agenda unless he or she has the required sponsorship from an elected official. The legislation is sponsored by Commissioner Manolo Reyes.
