Miami Beach wary of raising expectations about reopening

While Miami Beach’s elected officials agree the city needs to start to flesh out a detailed plan for the city’s reopening, most are cautious of drifting away from the city’s science-based decision-making and creating false expectations in the community.
At last week’s meeting, the Miami Beach Commission voted to urge the administration to develop plans for the reopening of various employment sectors.
