Miami Beach seeks offices construction deal for three city parking lots

Miami Beach is ramping up efforts to increase Class A office space and economic activity other than tourism in the city by soliciting interest in the development of three municipal parking lots adjacent to Lincoln Road. 

The city put out a request for letters of interest from developers who may like to build on Surface Parking Lots 25, 26 and 27 on Oct. 13. As of now, this process is to end in January, after which the city may solicit a request for proposal for these lots, according to Lyle Stern, a member of the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District.
