Miami Beach scooter riders might face tighter spring break rules

This spring break in Miami Beach, scooter riders may be much more restricted and monitored than last year as the city attempts to prevent and minimize perceived safety hazards and reckless driving.
On Feb. 13, the city commission unanimously passed an ordinance on first reading that would make the rental and lease of scooters, mopeds and motorcycles and the behavior of the riders easier to control and punished the week of spring break…To read the full story click here
