Miami Beach marina park with 385-foot condo on November ballot

With Miami Beach’s lease agreement with the city marina at 300 Alton Road coming to an end, development firm Terra Group is proposing a multimillion-dollar renovation that will result in a newly designed Marina Park complete with retail, additional green space and a residential component. City commissioners unanimously approved the project July 29, according to Terra Group President and co-founder David Martin, and residents will vote on the proposal Nov. 3.
The current lease, Miami Today reported in April when the project first went before the city’s Finance and Economic Resiliancy Committee, will expire in 2022, and the new lease amendment and extension will last for 99 years.
