Miami bankers see economic clouds lifting this year

Miami-Dade’s economic picture should look better this year than nearly all of 2020, and bankers here say the second half of the year will be far better still, provided certain expectations prove true.
Prospects will improve significantly between July and December, although much of it will depend on how well the Covid-19 vaccines roll out, said Mario Trueba, regional president of South Florida at IberiaBank.
