Miami backs move to make parking fines sting more

Miami city commissioners are supporting a move to increase penalties for parking violators, particularly those vehicles that block the flow of traffic.
Commissioners last week approved a resolution urging changes in state law to allow increased penalties for parking violations and urging the county to raise its parking fines.
