Mana land swap tied to Puerto Rican Chamber advances

Developer Moishe Mana’s lengthy land swap and construction deal with Miami-Dade County, whose components include a 15-year-old plan for a Puerto Rican Community Center and Chamber of Commerce, is again moving forward after a prior county vote left it on shaky ground.
County commissioners Dec. 17 unanimously OK’d terms with two Mana-owned companies, Mapton Holdings LLC and Mana Fashion Realty, for an $8.36 million project at 2900 NW Fifth Avenue in Wynwood.
