Lennar gets OK for development district on golf course site

Plans for a 181-acre “municipality alternative” moved forward Tuesday, as Miami-Dade commissioners approved an ordinance permitting Lennar Homes LLC to establish the San Simeon Community Development District (CDD) on the former site of the California Golf Club.
