Key step near in picking Kendall Corridor transit mode

Elected officials today (1/30) are to meet to endorse a transit upgrade for the Smart Plan’s Beach Corridor, but a lesser-known meeting directly afterward could produce the first major step in finding a new mode for the plan’s most confounding route: the Kendall Corridor.
The Citizens’ Independent Transportation Trust (CITT), which oversees the half-penny tax meant to fund transit expansion across Miami-Dade, is to review a new report on Kendall that includes a recommendation for new transit service there.
