After Irma, more parks managers might be hired full time

After weeks of applauding the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department for its first responders’ quick cleanup efforts in the days following Hurricane Irma, Miami-Dade commissioners are speaking up for the department employees and advocating for an increase in full-time park managers, and they just might get them.
