International student enrollments didn’t plunge in pandemic

Despite a global pandemic that complicated travel, universities in South Florida generally saw their enrollment of international students stay steady or increase during the pandemic, which leaders attributed to their outreach efforts.
South Florida is a proud international hub with a globally diverse population and its university populations are no different. However, when the pandemic struck at the start of 2020, schools began to strategize how to make up for a potential drop in international enrollment. c
