Global tech company plans to add 3,400 jobs in new Miami HQ

A global technology company that already employs 820 people in Miami-Dade County is vowing to hire 3,400 more at above-average wages and open new offices in a more than 100,000-square-foot headquarters in the downtown Miami area.

The name of the company is under wraps. Under the code name Xray, the county’s economic development organization the Beacon Council is applying for the company for more than $4.5 million in hiring bonuses from the county. The legislation is to be voted on Tuesday.
