Gables raises voice in bid to shrink transit station development

Members of the Coral Gables city commission and city staff are hoping that Miami-Dade County will consider downsizing a massive upcoming development popularly known as Douglas Station.
At their Oct. 25 meeting, commissioners discussed asking the county to downsize the project or potentially sue Miami-Dade, even though the area is a block outside of city limits.
