Funding source near for county land buy at Dolphin Station

By Tuesday, Miami-Dade’s planned multimillion-dollar land purchase near the new Dolphin Station Park-and-Ride facility in West Dade will have funding sources, Transportation Director Alice Bravo says.
Ms. Bravo told county commissioners last month her department would look at surplus property sales, tax-incremented financing and “half-penny” transit tax dollars as sources to pay for the roughly 34 acres the county plans to buy from the state.
