Free on-demand shuttles start rolling in West Dade

A free (for now) Uber-like service that shuttles users to destinations near transit stations along US 1 is now also running in West Dade, taking riders anywhere they choose within a 10.5-square-mile area.
Miami-Dade commissioners Tuesday unanimously approved an agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation to split the cost of running the county’s Go Connect service in the Hammocks, Kendall West, part of Kendale Lakes and a small portion of Tamiami.
