Federal fisheries science team undecided on move from Miami

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Fisheries’ Southeast Fisheries Science Center team remains at a standstill on moving out of Miami-Dade County.
An aging facility and headquarters at 75 Virginia Beach Dr. on Virginia Key is motivating the organization to find a new home. Talks of a possible move out of Miami-Dade and into a facility in St. Petersburg have gone on since last year.
