Fare-free Go Connect now links transit modes in South Dade

Cutler Bay on Monday became the fourth area along Miami-Dade’s north-south transit spine to receive a new Uber-like service shuttling nearby users to and from Metrorail and South Dade Transitway stations.
The on-demand service, Go Connect, began accepting riders in Cutler Bay at 5:30 a.m. Dec. 14, said Caroline Hawkins, spokesperson for Via Transportation, the company behind the service. Miami-Dade Transportation and Public Works spokesperson Luis Espinoza confirmed the launch.
