Drive-throughs kept some banks open during the peak of pandemic

Banks branches with drive-throughs lanes helped their locations stay open during the Covid-19 pandemic in South Florida, and the banking industry was challenged with branch closures and other difficulties.
Drive-throughs allowed banks like Centennial Bank to protect employees while they were performing services, said its Florida Regional President David Druey, and also protected the people as they didn’t have that direct interaction. “We were able to stay open and maintain that customer contact and helping out our customers,” he said.
