Downtown sets its sights on luring foreign businesses

Miami’s Downtown Development Authority is formulating a strategy to target leaders of foreign businesses who want to open a Miami office, as well as foreign real estate buyers.
As part of the plan, staff members have collected data and they, along with board members, might contemplate a visit to MIPIM (in French, Le Marché International des Professionnels de L’immobilier), a four-day international property event in Cannes that brings together real estate movers and shakers from around the world.
