Dominican Republic mission reaps Florida trade bonanza

An Enterprise Florida trade mission to the Dominican Republic generated about $10.6 million in expected business for 20 Florida companies, eight of which are from Greater Miami.
The Dominican Republic, Florida’s largest market in the Caribbean basin, welcomed 40 to 50 Floridians to Santo Domingo from Nov. 13-16.
The companies offered diverse products and services for export to the Dominican Republic, including pumps and compressors, industrial cooling technology like heat exchangers, cosmetics, software, natural gas, logistics providers, flavor extracts and food coloring, insulated panels, agro-science services, engines and generators, dietary supplements, boats, auto parts and outdoor furniture…To read the full story click here
