County telecommuting plan roadblocked by other orders

More than six months after it was due to be turned in to county commissioners, a report detailing how and whether to establish a telecommuting program for Miami-Dade employees has yet to materialize.
And it won’t for some time, according to county press secretary Patty Hurtado de Mendoza, who said this week that a flood of directives from the county’s lawmaking body has caused something of a reporting logjam at Mayor Carlos Giménez’s office.
