County mobility team boosts work from home

When the pandemic struck more than a year ago, more Miami-Dade residents began telecommuting than ever before. Transportation decision-makers now want to make as much of that shift to at-home work permanent as possible.
Last week, the Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) Governing Board voted unanimously to urge county commissioners to adopt as county policy recommendations from a January report on telecommuting by the Florida Department of Transportation, FIU and consultant Kittelson & Associates.
