County actively plans boat transit to ply Biscayne Bay

Miami-Dade’s team is in talks with an unspecified waterborne transit company with hopes of reaching an agreement by December for public transportation on the bay between Miami and Miami Beach.
The ongoing talks between the Department of Transportation and Public Works and the transit company are the latest move since April, when the Miami City Commission separately promised to move forward with a company to provide waterborne transit between the two cities.
