Coral Gables revives its US 1 corridor study

The Coral Gables City Commission agreed Tuesday to revive the US 1 corridor study, which has been idling for four years, but not as a weapon to thwart development on the stretch of the highway that runs through the city.
“There’s been a lot of discussion on this since 2015, so I brought it up for our new colleague to see what’s gone on,” said Vince Lago, vice mayor, referring to Jorge L. Fors, a commissioner who was elected last month.
