Commissioners don’t respond to major recovery plan package

After meeting weekly for three months, Miami-Dade’s Covid-19 Economic Recovery Task Force this month gave commissioners a menu of ideas for how to steer the county clear of recession.
So far, the response has been crickets, said Joe Martinez, sponsor of the item creating the group. He told Miami Today he’d sent his peers the recommendations weeks before they met Sept. 15 on Covid-19.
