College Artificial Intelligence Center gets downtown’s funding

Miami’s Downtown Development Authority has authorized an educational grant of $1 million to Miami Dade College for an Artificial Intelligence curriculum is being developed at the Downtown Miami Wolfson Campus.
“We want to make sure that Miami has the talent to step up to the momentum that is happening in the city,” said Madeline Pumariega, the college’s first female president, at a Nov. 12 DDA meeting. “We know that artificial intelligence is changing the way we work, play and learn.”
