City trolleys’ real-time route, ridership data still missing

Miami-Dade is still waiting on all 34 municipalities in the county to hand over route and ridership information for their trolleys and shuttles, but that could change by June thanks to new technology, transportation spokesperson Karla Damian said.
County lawmakers more than a year ago OK’d an ordinance requiring cities to turn over the information quarterly as part of any new interlocal agreement to receive funds from the countywide half-penny surtax.
