City officials issue emergency call to save Biscayne Bay

Two prominent voices from two of Miami-Dade’s oldest cities put pen to paper this month to implore Florida’s leadership to take action to save Biscayne Bay.
In a joint letter, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and Coral Gables Vice Mayor Vince Lago asked Gov. Ron DeSantis for “urgent assistance” and “a coordinate and united commitment” to address what they called “a crisis point” for the Bay.
