Brightline cites its return and Tri-Rail’s downtown tests

Private rail service Brightline says it will resume trips in November while continuing work on the Aventura and downtown stations. The Aventura building is now being built while the downtown station already has a vital positive train control (PTC) system.
Jose Gonzalez, executive vice president of Brightline parent Florida East Coast Industries, updated county transit officials and commissioners on operations, saying the company already had delivered adjustments of PTC to public three-county commuter line Tri-Rail and they might begin tests downtown in November.
