Big change at expanding charter high school

After opening its doors to students and parents six years ago, the LBA Business & Construction Academy, a charter high school founded by the Latin Builders Association that currently serves up to 350 students, points to offering “on the job training,” as being a key change to the school’s curriculum, according to Yamileth Pereyra, director of operations at the Latin Builders Association.

“Our enrollment continues to grow annually,” Ms. Pereyra said. “Due to this growth we have moved and grown our physical plant to a location which will allow a capacity of up to 350 students.”…To read the full story click here
