Beach targets a better plan for Memorial Day Weekend

Weeks after Spring Break season in Miami Beach made headlines nationwide as tourists flocked to the city and police made more than 1,000 arrests, officials will look at how to better control the area for another high-impact period: Memorial Day Weekend.
This week the city commission plans to address multiple items related to the upcoming holiday weekend, which frequently draws crowds to the Beach and will be the first of its kind in an open-for-visits covid environment.
