Beach seeks Class A space to lure financial industry arrivals

With residents of high-income tax states flocking to cities with lower taxes, Miami Beach commissioners are interested in attracting financial businesses near one of the Beach’s most famous strips.
The city administration is to bring for commission approval early in the year a solicitation for letters of interest aimed at gauging interest in developing Class A Office Space on city-owned lots north of Lincoln Road. Commissioner Ricky Arriola, who sponsored the discussion, noted that while people might be buying homes in Miami Beach, they’re not necessarily setting up shop in the city.
