Banesco USA plans to acquire long-shopped Brickell Bank

Banesco USA on Tuesday announced plans to acquire Brickell Bank. The two entities hope for final word on plans in the next three months.
Banco Espírito Santo S.A. in liquidation will adopt its new owners’ name and corporate branding in the transition. The two organizations have signed a merger agreement passed through the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering consent order.
