As multifamily housing demand rises, so do construction costs

Demand for housing continues to rise as South Florida is now becoming the most popular place to come and live, housing developers say. 

Miami-Dade County has attracted an influx of new residents and businesses. People coming from the Northeast, Chicago and Los Angeles flocking to Miami-Dade are creating more demand for more and more multifamily development projects, said Al Fernandez, president of ANF Group, a construction management and general contracting firm.
